Our ceramic tiles, pottery & fine art are designed & made on the west side of Kauai in historic Hanapepe town. The studio is located in the beautiful Historic Chang Building (1926). Banana Patch Studio was started in 1991 by Kauai artist, Joanna Carolan. Joanna's art work and designs are inspired by the Hawaiian culture & natural beauty of Kauai. Initially a one-woman operation, Banana Patch Studio now employs 20 artists creating hand painted tiles and pottery from Joanna's unique designs.
