I love painting outside in nature. The French call it 'plein air painting' to distinguish it from studio art. Art created from life is usually more alive than work done from photographs. I try to paint every day from Kokee to Ke'e and everything in between. My main subject is the play of light on Kauai's breathtaking landscape. My larger oil paintings are reproduced as beautiful limited edition prints on canvas. Small matted prints are also available in select Kauai shops and galleries.
